Won't get fooled?

In an effort to keep my electoral optimism in check, I present "Won't Get Fooled Again" from The Who.



I'm not really as cynical as this song. But it does underscore how difficult true change is.

"My band career ended late in my senior year when John Cooper and I threw my amplifier out the dormitory window. We did not act in haste. First we checked to make sure the amplifier would fit through the frame, using the belt from my bathrobe to measure, then we picked up the amplifier and backed up to my bedroom door. If I could pick one concert I would have liked to have attended, it may very well be from the below video with all the members of The Who. I think it's an apt song for an election season. Here's hoping that the new boss won't be the same as the old boss.
